On the odd occasion I have donated a small sum of money to Neopoet.
I find it very hard to find the shop cart as it is to donate.
I think that the cart could be made easier to find,
this morning I have given up.
Would it not be good to have a money box, where we can leave something, that can be seen on the first of each month, instead of trolling through several pages.
I am sure Neopoet would increase its input of funds if the access was easier,
Yours Ian .T
PS:- The answer can be put on as a Blog so that all can see..
Hello all,
I have a question of interest for the general membership
How would you like to see and be a part of our new and up coming"guest chat host" program
It would be a no strings attached hosting of a chat room, very much like open mic night or improv. night
subjects would be open and the length of the room would be up to the discretion of the host for that night.
Hi all, I just want to ask if any of you are experiencing the same thing. I was checking my works when I noticed this change of format. Instead of stanzas and verses, t comes out as one stanza -
We are testing a new program by Google -- members will be shown a survey on poem pages that they will be asked to fill out before continuing on. These surveys will only appear at most once a month, will not appear for premium members, and only one response (rather than the full survey) is required. Google, in turn, will pay us about $0.05 to $0.45 per survey result (with most surveys likely being closer to $0.05). We estimate this program, over the course of a year, will offset our budget for one month (in contrast, display advertising covers close to two months of our annual costs).
I wanted to bring this here after my other site failed to rasp what I was getting at. Anyone familiar with Micro expressions have an idea about the general idea of what I am going for. I want to take that detection to text, and composition. To read between the lines. Please share your take on tells people make when insincere, or being outright deceptive in their written presentations.
In ink,
David
Allow me a few words concerning the Workshop before our actual discussion begins on the 14th.
The Elf has said at times that I can be a bit dry and analytical.
Guilty as charged.
The mechanics of poetry has always fascinated me. Vocabulary, grammar, poetic form, meter and rhyme is, in a very real sense, how my poetry gets written. It is a curious joy to me and comes, if not exactly easy, without undue struggle.
The emotional is more difficult for me.
My name is Wesley Snow and I have been a member of NeoPoet for two years during which it has been my privilege to twice serve on the Administrative Council. I am a workshop leader currently directing Storytelling in Verse and (most important of all from my perspective)…
I am a mentor.

A little background.
I'm not currently active at Neopoet currently and won't be in the future.
I got pinged from a friend at Neopoet and it reminded me of Neopoet for the first time in a year and after poking around for the last couple of weeks and reading a lot of the discussions, I decided I had to note something before I went on my merry way again.
Ok I know if I try to post more than one poem in a twenty four hour perios I'll get a warning and the time my last poem was posted
So the question begs to be answered How can some folks have three or more poems posted with the same date stamp and almost the same time
Also if we have a one poem per twenty four hours period
