Lou,
it is a shame that you won't be able to enter into this competition...since you're the judge, juror & executioner!
So here is a challenge for you. You write one using the same words from the competition and I'll do the same.
Then I will decide whose is best!! Lol!
Post it here and maybe others will tell us how good mine is and how poor yours is!!
Do you accept the challenge?

Your on, may the best man (woman) win. LOL

Lou,
rules say (I have just made them up) that the winner gets a bar of chocolate!
Deadline for the challenge is close of play Saturday evening, preferably before the X-Factor!! Lol!
I hope yours is gonna be good, because my draft is already looking like a winner.
I prefer WholeNut Chocolate by the way!!
Lol!

Dan,
My poem is looking good also, when I win can you send me something fruit based, as I can't eat chocolate, as i'm on a diet. LOL !!

Facsimile
Lou,
read it and weep!
Facsimile
Facsimile of the human psyche unravelled
Reveals a paper trail of the life I've travelled
Incriminating evidence of my vital force now found
Like the endless paper on the fax, I fall without sound
Attacked, by the fax
Back-tracked into the crack
Trapped by the facts
Slapped by the unseen smack
Facsimile of the virtual spirit is revealed
Unravels a path of the life I thought concealed
Accusing proof of my stained and broken soul
Like the paper in the bin, I fail the quality control

Hehe ,
very good, but POW !! take that, ( and i don't mean the boy band) LOL
Finger tips etching grooves into the earth’s crust,
I’m clinging , precariously,
Frantic struggling, against the abyss.
I’m an enigma,
Descending into ambiguity.
Clutching at sanity.
Mistrust of reality,
Crushed under its gravity.
Grinding me into dust.
Cataclysmic hush,
As my world, rolls in on itself.
Leaving a husk of my former self.
Be still, be quiet,
In a holding pattern.
Inertia creeping.
I’m ineffectual ,
Off the radar.
I’m in stasis.
Facsimile of the human psyche unravelled.
