One Word

Littered thoughts lay
crumpled on the floor,
lips bear the imprint
of a fingernail.

A single word
dances at the end
of my fingertips,
I scratch paper
into confetti.

The first stanza
dares me to
give it autarky,
declare its truth
all its faults
in every sentence.

This untold idiom
would usher in
the torn diaries
of an undisclosed
suffering mind.

So I clean my floor
clench my hands
and close this
subject forever.

isn't there.

Sounds like you is fighting with memories that have been entered into your structure of day to day things.
To us it is coming up to Spring where we do a sorting out of all the rubbish that has accumulated in our lives both physical and of the mind both can be cleansed.
We have a natural habit of hoarding things and sometimes those things are not good for us, so nows the time to throw them out into the garbage.
I see you are being naughty again by looking at everything that is there and what they meant to you, scrub the floor leave not one footprint behind, then run into the sunshine, we are here.
I shall look for you in the sunshine and starlight..

Its hard not to see the memories they are in everything and sometimes they are moving memories, I have done nothing but clean have you been watching me LMAO !! I have cleaned the whole bloody house out thrown out so much stuff, I will probably regret it later but it feels good at the moment lol

I have been out in the starlight tonight sitting in the cool its so beautiful you would love it, its mild but not cold, you can walk around in a singlet and shorts and not feel cool but its not hot its just... sigh... wonderful :)

With your cleaning and sorting it seems that you are on the way to being yourself again it is a therapy, of course we watch you and watch over you day to day until you have become settled again.
I was as I said married for 36 years and it turned to worms maybe I accelerated it at the end but something has to give now I have been married 10 years again, this is a spiritual journey now totally different from before, there are many things I could say about life and not what to do but thats another story lol.
Judging from your new picture and your heartfelt writing there are many people out there that could only hit the jackpot by knowing you.
Always remember that you are unique and a beautiful Spirit.

More sorting and throwing out and looking for somewhere to live, its been a crazy few days I am tired as, I am so not ready to get back into the 'scene' lol maybe a while down the track ;)

When it all turns to worms its a shitty feeling, been there a couple of times now and it never gets any easier

Once again this heart pouring edition symbolizes the struggle to clean the slate of sorrow. for me amongst the many good lines the following stand out ..

You are very kind my friend, I guess there is going to be some sadness creep into my writes I cant seem to help it at the moment that's what's coming out, very happy you took the time out to read it hun thank you.

I will try and write something more uplifting in the next few days, gotta get in the sunlight and sunbake my cares away, I am heading to the beach tomorrow :)

What can I say I am beginning to start living, on my own, its going to be an interesting journey ;) I haven't been to the beach once this year, so much else has been going on so I plan to spend a couple of days each week until the weather starts to cool again, I will think of you all while I am laying on the beach I may even bring back a poem ;)

I plan to spread my wings and make friends but the last thing on my mind at the moment is finding someone new, I have to get over the last one first, Living my life to the fullest I can is the plan at the moment maybe down the track things will change we will see what happens eh ? big smile
