USELESS ENDEAVORS
Do you miss my poetry
did my words tell you more
than what you read
didn't you see
yourself in me.
I am the particular to the universal
a microcosm of the human spirit
a magnificent perfection of imperfection.
I showed you a soul.
Did you see it.
I showed you my gypsy heart
my longings,
my melancholy.
Did you feel it
Do you miss my poetry
or do my words die
in the saying
do my thoughts languish
in their caress............

Hi Joe
If any of us can ever manage to pen even one poem recalled past our time we can consider ourselves to have done well. And this might well be such a poem. Hope you are doing at least OK...........stan

Joe
This is beautiful in its completeness of thought and being, yet there is so much missing, each day of feeling, each mood, people around you and many other things that make up such a perfect soul that seems to underestimate his own worth to the universal being.
It is not for us to question our being, it is for us just to be...
Yours Ian.T
