Infantalization

INFANTALIZATION

You were the first
I was the last
a child of circumstance
filling an empty space.
I sought my definition
in your shadow
a cold and dark place
a field left fallow
where no loving seed
could grow.

Your world is colorless
Your silence piercing
Your words unforgiving.
And when you speak
I am as a child
again.

dark indeed! The meaning is clear to me and I felt the emotion strongly. ~ Gee

Older brothers or sisters can be a pain they seem to think that they are losing out when if they behaved in a correct manner having a younger child in the house only enhances their position and gives them a chance to learn many other things that would be missing if they were alone.
I had six older Bro's and Sis's and life to me was really a beautiful caring state, maybe I was spoilt though in those days there wasn't much of that LOL
Loved the write as it was outside of your normal area.
Take care young Joe, and know we are thinking of you, Yours Ian.T

gives me an intense feeling
as if we were twins
facing the same dilemma
