O mum....

your poem also touched me
though I loved my mom
we were never too close,

so I too left at 15
then returned with a blessing,
as all her favourite ones
had ditched,
I alone was left
beside

Since then I have composed
moms’ poems
for so many
an irreplaceable being
not a thing…

moms live forever
in hearts of all
not necessarily to be
a mommy’s child may be
but love of moms is eternal
truly we all miss them
till our own life's end

Oh yes so truly
meaningfully
moms live on forever
beyond the stars
of eternity

I read the whole thing, I was tempted to just dismiss this as a statement gone awry, posted as a comment instead of a piece of work. Then just on a hunch, I decided to see if there was more. Surprise! Still a statement, but one written with sensitivity. I think you are reaching a new plateau, I can see you coming over the hill. Friends for sure, ~ Gee

I felt every line. You succeeded in pulling an emotion from us that for many lingers without expressiom.

After reading your poem, I do so wish I'd had a mother that I could have loved. But alas, she hated me, her last and unwanted child. But my father adored me, so it was a trade off. I enjoyed your poem.

I too am the lastest child
thank god
they both loved me
all my living while
sorry all their living while
till their demise
they couldn't thereafter
so sad,,
but I still do adore
that's so good

You wear emotion as a beautiful flowing dress in the wind, my sweet friend.
Its there and ever moving for all the world to see; as it is in this and all your other poems.
