MOODS AND STYROFOAM CUPS

MOODS

I feel like a strawberry shake
left out in the rain
too watered down
to shake anymore
for anyone.

I feel like a warm
glass of beer
left in the sun
all suds gone
a drink unthinkable .

I feel like a Nathan’s frank
on a stale bun,
A bumble bee
stripes that run
vertically

A styrofoam cup
cigarette butts
soaking in its mud
no use
in any way.

I feel like me today.

If enough water falls into the milk shake it will be drinkable.
Wouldn't drink the beer anyway lol
Nathan’s frank and bumble bees, well I will let that go.
Damn Styrofoam cups just don't feel the same nor look good.
Now to the Author we can still see you there, and you don't look,
or sound, like any of these things.
Good write but your mirror needs cleaning lol, Take care young Joe a lovely picture this has sent to me, Yours Ian.T

PS:- They say the weather is going to be Muggy today so I shall stay
in, case I get Cupped on the head lol

When I read this wonderful piece
I recalled
the vision of a guy outside Walmart Canada
as New York doesn't have one

a guy standing in the middle of the road
near the entrance
neither he could move forward ,
nor get out of a cars way
his wife..hopefully she was ..
yelled what delays you???

That you pressed reply was good enough for us you keep your strength for things that benefits your days, and no need to reply we hear you..

Magnificent, it made me dance,
Not because of how you feel,
but because of your illustration of that fact
with such humour and panache.

I wondered, before I read it,
what STYROPHA meant,
perhaps an ancient poetic expression,
and BANG!

There I sat on the pavement,
staring into the suds of a spent beer.

SMASHING Longobardolino,
you are still in full swing.

Your Anni.

Moods are such amazing things, aren't they? They keep changing. You have captured one such mood of yours and illustrated it so clearly to the readers, so that now we all know how you really felt !
Just see if you like what I think about 'Moods'.

Well.., aren’t you like the Sea?
Such changes trying me!
