Golden Goa

fluorescent blue skies
blink and shut eyes
to look down,
from smile to frown
once the dirt road
with kicked up pink dust
now concrete lust
a raped paradise
blink then shut eyes
cry crystal tears
For lost are the golden years.

beauty in concrete
there is none
its like bones of
death
stone is more beautiful
and dirt tracks
for birds for their crop
for children playing on
slower routes
for making tracks
dogs and bikes

I like your title immensely
and find your poetry powerful
and avatar stimulating to
my creative senses

thank You
