we are poets

ink forming into words
in
the back of my head.
raging
and scratcing behind my teeth
tempting
to spill through my lips.
swelling.
threatening to overflow.
our
ideas explode on a blank page. a
pen
fused to our viens. our ink
forms
a lucid spill over a white canvas.
thoughts
scream out loud caressing our minds. wrap
around
the soul. for we are all
poets.

About This Poem

Last Few Words: so this form is different, just a trial and error thing. read it normal than go back and just read the short lines.... it's rough. choppy and desperate for improvement!!

in our minds the words all fight
to be the first to see the light
each one hopes that it will be
a part of perfect poetry........................when that muse hits it seems we can't write fast enough doesn't it ? lol I'm sure there's a name for this form of poetry where every other line consists of a single word but it will be up to a more learned scribbler than I to know what it is..............stan

From chat I told you I got the feeling of a scratchy quill pen before me you had just seen a movie showing it, and thought about it for this.

This has a much unsuspected depth as a winter bare oak
