It reminds me of stories gory,
Which traversed?
The finger-prints of time
Some one erased
From the earth a friend of mine,
Having mauled
As a lion a deer
He was such a rascal,
Oh now I fear
I let him go unknowingly then,
Had I been a bit braver than now,
I would have shredded those kinds of men
I feel guilty till today
That though I tried my best
To keep my friend away,
He made her go astray
What blasphemy,
He also finally got away.
If there is hell,
May that finally be
His resting place
But that’s just
A temporary solace
The brilliance emanates from the truth of the incident I
I couldn't help the child
I knew such a thing would happen
but life was so ordained
may her soul rest in peace.
I was then a hapless person.
Amen
After this incident
I took my study of the
HUMAN MIND
a bit more seriously
and
have come a long, long and long way .
Loved or LovelyHoney
I must just say this is a good thoughtful piece written for Rosina. Nothing will change what happened to her, but to know she has friends around her, and ones who will express their love through poetry must help her get through each day.
I would say that the use of 'Rascal' seems too weak...he was more than that, maybe 'Monster' would be nearer the mark.
