Just
when I felt
claustrophobic..
a spiders skin,
shed.
When
I had forgotten
how to shine..
a web, wet
in the streetlight.
When
I thought
I couldn't get up,
that the rain
might never stop..
Incy Wincy.

Last Few Words: As a child I was terrified of spiders, as a teenager whilst working on a playscheme, I experienced the true beauty of a huge tarantula, now as an adult I feel an affinity with these creatures and am ever grateful for the messages they bring :)

Out came the sunshine!
Delightful, I love the weaving (sorry for the webby reference, promise it was fluke) of the vastness of that indelible childhood song, so delicately added so that it just sits & gives frame to the sentiment. Those childhood saying are so loaded & could make the thing top-heavy, not here! & all the drawing in of the conquering of a phobia, making yet more connection with the overcoming of your own challenges... definitely wonderful layered weaving going on here.... Sorry for crudely stating the obvious, don't see that it's terribly useful, but at least you know how the work lands
Out came the sunshine!

Thanks darling, the first two
Thanks darling, the first two stanzas were little haikus that were written quite far apart, I felt they wanted to be together in a slightly longer piece and the last bit just came (Freya loves incy wincy spider, so we do it quite a lot) it seemed to fit here so perfectly, that perhaps is what adds to the layering feeling you get.... Yes those childhood sayings are soo loaded aren't they? Row, row, row your boat comes to mind :) Life is but a dream, so happy Anni you are in mine xxxx
