“Yes, I knew” [LYRICS]
Not a word,
not a sound,
not a sigh.
no look back
no regrets,
not a cry.
out of the blue.
A surprise.
but down deep
inside
I think I knew.
I could see it
in your eyes
In the lies
of your touch
and I knew…
"It's me"
you said,
"It'not you."
No good-byes, no regets
no look back.
I think I knew

Geremia!
excellent piece! From the format, to the content.... No regrets, no goodbyes.... Wish it were that simple for most of us! Check on the typo there in the last paragraph - "no looking back" is what you perhaps meant!
Cheers
Thanks, Bonita will take care
Thanks, Bonita will take care of typo. Every poem I wrte comes from true experience. THE HEART works out tits pain in its "dance" with metaphor and rhyme. Shhh...don't tell Jess I sad that lol

we all knew too
twas you
alone who always knew
sometimes we don't want see
sometimes we don't want see what is hurtful, but that obly postpones the inevitable.

Beautifully drawn together
Beautifully drawn together Longobardolino,
and as emogothgirl says its a stunning song,
just think how it would sound, your melacholia
weaving the background into a cradle.
Nordic cloud.:)
Takk, Anni.
Takk, Anni.
leavings
the little sighs of symbolisms
like the hungry blue of autumn so still and clear
while the leaves are still fat with summer green
the clouded vision
and you know to not ask them
"where are you??"
would it be simpler for the replies?
"I'm moving in with the drummer from the east side
the one I stood outside and shared cigarettes with
during the set break when you went to get us our
drinks and I needed t o refresh myself with air"
I remember Hollywood used to use this much
I had only black and white shows at night
reality is more daring and edgy
never knowing was my favourite
what secrets did He have? or she?
what drew my prize my whole
from me
nothing..nothing at all says happy sadness
come to sit
Ive had no stars burning in my night to wish
upon Just falling stars
I tended to while they wept for Love that
was not mine
without this there would be no time for poetry
just dancing and walks on the promenades
while dusk glows behind the city in the west
and the eastern sky greets the night and buoy
beacons....
Intense poem Mr Joe
