SUDDEN THINGS II
It struck my soul
and stunned my senses
a sudden blow unexpected.
My heart sank
as the words began
to flow.
Each one a crucifixion
Then I knew what it was
to die.
I waited until you were gone
to cry.

Dear Joe,
You have outdone yourself! I can relate!!!
always, Cat
It does hurt, doesn't it ?
It does hurt, doesn't it ?
Speak not of death my friend
You make my eyes well, before hand,
when one is born
the gift of death came along
with it
but then
when one cried
the world laughed
and
when the departure does arrive
one shall silently smile
and die
but the world surely will cry
for a soul that lived
so well and high
and
I exhort all my brethren
grieve not upon my demise
say I lived my time
with admiration,
love
and
was so wise
to know that death
is just a passing phase
into oblivion
as we all by now know,
we are simple passersby
of a world yet totally untraversed
and
unknown
So feel the pulse
whilst it does still beat
when the hour does come...
silently into the realms
beyond universe and time
you too shall serenely retreat.
WELL DONE!!!
WELL DONE!!!
This one s about the death of love and a relationship/ There r many ways we "die" n a lifetime.
Thank you for a wnderful poem
So human, so human. Anni
So human, so human. Anni
So vulnerable is the human
So vulnerable is the human heart, Anni.
