For Esker

It was indeed
a great day for me ,
when you passed by my solitary lane,
somewhere in the maddening wilderness .

That you having been declared the best,
by the only poetic authority
enlivens my heart

I am no one to commend,
but greetings I can send
to a poet who time views
as God sent

Alas, I am a solitary passerby,
In this vast arena of time,
where only death bells
for ever for me chime ,
so anonymous,
Loved,
is a name of mine.

And a pioneer of poetry in our own time. I'm glad you wrote this for him. My favorite lines are:

Alas, I am a solitary passerby,
In this vast arena of time,
where only death bells
for ever for me chime ,
so anonymous,
Loved,
is a name of mine.

Deaths chimes are a far off thing and this tribute to Esker is excellent if I may use that word.
Loved the essence and feeling put in there from the heart, Yours Ian.T

From the cauldrons of devastated minds
I shall unearth diamonds
Albeit ,if they let me alone,
my mind speaks of volumes
eons since...

I am the virtue
yet to be transformed
from superficial animation
to real human...
Ah! What a consolation!

this is a wonderful worded poem
Time indeed is something that
can be transposed and transfixing

I love mirages
and stare at our islands seven
klicks offshore from the dock
I love the midde distance
and dream there sipping coffee
and I have the most intense eyes

"pretty" said one muse
and even prettier are the poems
from the heart
with solemn heart sadness
those that know
how precious
this commodity of ours is
the human soul
and spirit that
is within and without

Thank You

At least you have blue eyes..
Once I composed a poem

BROWN HAIR BLUE EYES

and
believe you me,
it is on the Internet ,still being read ,
Hopefully twill never be dead .

I have the Shakespearean touch ,
so some one , or was it I myself ,
who chose to address
the poet in me
as SHAKINGSPEARE ,
Anonymity alone being common

''''''''Alas, I am a solitary passerby,
In this vast arena of time,
where only death bells
for ever for me chime ,
so anonymous,
Loved,
is a name of mine.'''
