I hate to say this, though you have a hard time from our Weirdelf (Jess) we must all admit, due to his persistent comments (Not all taken well) we change and evolve into writers that think a little more about our work, before we post.
Your words over the time I have known you, have become much better and the tip of the iceberg (Young Bard) shows as we have progressed, with Jess there as an irritant, come poetry guru.
You have the works there young poet and the time to sort out from all your works, how to select and then send out to be published. All my life I may have grossed around $500 for all the writing I have done but that is not the reason for writing.
I write because of others influence and my feelings of a variety of things, now the children and the philosophies
they have given me.
Many things are learned through arguments and having a run in with someone.
I have put a few shots across Jesse's bows and he has acknowledged that there are other things in life other than perfection in Poetry and that us You and me write on the fringes of his world of perfection.
If there were NO us then who would ever be able to judge poetry.
We are not going to move mountains with our words, but one thing we do, is to make the great greater, and the worse, feel better that they can Attain a better level.
Now young Loved write up your works, look at the poems one by one, select those you think are your best then look again, through the eyes of another that will let you see the best ones to use.
I am at the moment putting all my works on a web site that is:- yenti.co.uk if you go there you will see that there is a category called Edit these are the ones that I will have to sort out later, before that I will take each category and Edit each poem as they come up.
This will take a year or so as there are hundreds to go into the Edit let alone the other places.
Now come on give our teachers their dues and let them in to teach.
I hope that this is not a bad thing to say to you but we all have to learn, and from your works I have learned a few things but don't tell Jess LOL, Yours Ian.T

Ian is right, my friend. There were tines I couldn't write because of some harsh critiques.I've been bashed, smashed and pulverized, but I did learn something.

So it all does work out for your betterment in the end, But rememb er the valid points and work from there. No evaluation is always correct. It is for the most part a personal ,subjective view of the reader . Some express themselves more "strongly" than others.
