SO MANY VOICES

For what intention
Do I live
Knowing of nothing
Of pure life
Or understanding death

Can the trees
Hear the music
Of the wind
Without any ears
Yet they dance

As the ocean
Loves the land
To such degrees
It caresses it
Day and night

Am I different
Among these things
I am universal
Connected to all
Yet all alone

I only answer
To my own
Heart and conscious
Can I hear
What is said

The worlds dream
Has clouded me
To simply believe
That I need
So much more

At the end
What will matter
Money and fame
Will always wane
Not true art

My true legacy
Is my art
I live it
And derive pleasure
When I write

very catchy. maybe changing line 'OF pure life' to something like 'on' or 'or'. the repeated 'of' throws me off a little. and last line- we all write about writing. fun stuff!

you are just wonderful

I am appreciative of all who love the arts no matter the sphere they are in. Art is a process of creating and it's in all of us. The trick is to find your own voice. So my appreciation is for all ones here who have showed me the way to find my voice. they know who they are, and I thank them for their time and patience.
You are a good friend, and I am glad you take the time to read my ramblings.

the poem flows along quite well until we come to the last stanza, maybe you could change the last two lines to something like ,' for which i live and breathe and derive much pleasure'.

good stuff

I am trying a new way of writing useing three words per line in a certain syllable count and hold to a tempo.
I like what you do with the last stanza, but I have to fiqure out how to say it keeping to the three words per line
thank you for the time you took to really look at it.
thanks for the "good stuff"
