Peace Attained....

Peace Attained…..

If I could soar as the eagle, feel
the troubled winds of Earth flow
through feathered wings.
I would snatch the will of
man then watch over what
goodness nature brings.

Silly notions in my mind I’ve known
that man must have the heart of stone.
Greed guides our every movement sly
all that oppose must move or die.
Canvases and trinkets made from jewel
the killing off of peoples their lands to rule.

These are the values of the modern Ape,
drunk with more than just the grape.
The concocted brew that man craves most,
a must have whatever else that’s lost.
To sit atop his large ivory tower,
looking down to feel and see his power.

swoop and change this earth that all are equals.
Only one creature to be left living small,
this being the vilest one of all. Man….

read
and thou shall't also be read
at least I have started the race
of reading the lost ones....
basking in the coldness
of poetic mortuary
coz some steal the show

You are a good seasoned poet here...

but why hasn't this been read
for so long
ask Neopoets owners...
no one should have a poetry unread ...
the MGMT staff must intervene
and allot poetry to all stalwarts
to read at least those
which are over five months old
unread ie..
put your foot down
and let them know
upon poetry our lives we sow...
hahahaha
