Histornity's Song

Heightened imaginations
stemmed from not owning a lot of things;

faith in God, and family
in a land where all were kings;

receiving all the blessings each life brings.

Each agenda far from hidden
we were the flock, and God the "word";

at a time of innovation
from pure genius to the absurd;

with the best soundtrack music ever heard.

Our skies, truly the limit
and our faith knew no bounds;

under the band named, Noland
we explored through music, and sounds;

to this day our playlist still astounds.

Myriad influenced
the music sets me free;

still learning, ever honing
the song inside of me;

every tune, each lyric, and harmony.

My happiest existence
sharing music with my friends;

I am mindful of the message
my song ultimately sends;

ever grateful for each ear the listener lends.

Perpetually evolving
I continue with my song;

to perfect my finished product
I correct which parts seem wrong;

maybe the music will help eternity not seem so long.

We each possess within us
a song that is our own;

and we'll be judged by the "score"
and how much we each have grown;

when we return to a love much brighter than any known.

If i'm correct the word histornity is made up of two words History and Eternity, and works for me. The theme is great as with the logic, i liked this a lot. Great poem one i can relate to very easily. Regards Roscoe..
