Congratulations to one and all.

Have fun, enjoy your term and don't forget what *it* is all about.

"A poet's work . . . to name the unnameable, to point at frauds, to take sides, start arguments, shape the world and stop it from going to sleep.” ― Salman Rushdie

And please remember that no matter what happens, what kind of quarrels and opposing viewpoints, they are necessary for true insight to begin into how the *other* thinks/feels.
We bear a social responsibility, especially in a *family of poets* to accept it all without
resorting to *violence* because we don't agree and only want *goody-good pollyanna
thinkers only*. Our *reactions* are based on who we are, and say nothing about the
*other*.

Every venue (especially a poetic one) is a microcosm of the macrocosm of reality.

That six month thingy, wasn't that for the next term of
AEC (lol).

I believe we have a good team and that is a great start!

weirdelf

and best wishes for a productive and trouble free term. Well... considering the Rushdie quote Anna mentioned
"A poet's work . . . to name the unnameable, to point at frauds, to take sides, start arguments, shape the world and stop it from going to sleep.” ― Salman Rushdie
You know it's on the Neopoet t-shirts, we can't expect a polemic of poets to run entirely smoothly.

Hooded Stranger

Jess,

thanks mate.

A trouble free term...do we do miracles on Neopoet still?

Thank you

Hooded Stranger

Eddie,

cheers my friend.

We had no trouble and little work to do whilst you were away, yet the moment you returned, we had complaints, in-house fighting, hostile taker-overs, resignations and hostage situations. So can you try to avoid to doing all those again during this term?

LOL!
