THIS STILLNESS : re-post

THIS STILLNESS

There is a stillness deep
a silence that soothes
and terrifies
no words can be spoken
the noise of living
fades into distant places
and I wait quietly pretending

the world doesn't speak to me
the same way it did before
my words are sharp and clear
yet somehow fade and disappear
heard by none

my art if art it be
hides my soul in metaphor
and the stories I tell
are me in hell

my sight is weak
my movements slow and heavy
my thoughts at times unclear
and I fear the madness that is to come

my will is strong and stronger still
and when my heart wants to give in
I push the day to live again

EPILOGUE

every life has a meaning and connection
to all others
each suffering is a reflection
of another’s
the end of one is our own dying

Emerge to merge
With the remnants of the universe,
Of which we knowledgeably converse
And
Rehearse
As owners of the domains of time,
Unknown,
Of when our own will finally be up

Geremia

What price we pay in fear
when lving is only temporary
and dying is what we are all meant to do

thank you, my friend. I admire you r new way of writng!

Is only because your brain is so wired,
Despite your ailment
You are bright
While others not ill,
Are so much without
Depth, love and insight

Coz our brains are integrated
And
Cast at birth
While in the womb
And
The mom knows not
what she is thinking,
Of the loveliest new arrival
or the tomb

And

Her thoughts get transplanted
In our infant,
yet to be born developing mind
Where can then anyone these two
Identical kind of brains ever find.

You remind me of a lost brother
And
So I hope you are one

Geremia

we all are brothers lost to one another
souls wandering in parallel lines
intersecting from time to time.
our voices are barely heard
and we are out of tune
singing a cappella likes wolves
baying at the moon
living lives parallel
to all others...
