Entry One
Went out on the lash with my drinking pals last night,
i found myself at the bottom a whiskey bottle once again
lost the plot between lip and glass,
stumbled and fell on my arse.
Decided to search for my sobriety in a can of special brew
used to make me see things clearly,
could not see for the clouds within.
lurched and puked again.
Found my salvation in the arms of a buxom bar lady
woke to find i had my beer goggles on,
and by god she was a toothless hag.
topped up on Gin, she was Marilyn Monroe again.
Entry Two
Ripped open my eyelids this morning
sunlight assaulted my eyes,
tearing at my retina.
Left me begging for my head to be severed.
Death would not have me,
so I rolled out from my pitt ,
nearly went arse over tit.
My ex wife lay upon the carpet
Could have sworn I'd petted the dog
last night curled up on the rug.
Must been the old dragon,
in a worse state then me.
Traversed my flat
and looked in my bathroom mirror.
Mr Hyde stared right back,
eye bags down to my chin.
I swore for umpteenth time
I would quit,
I'd sup tea and nibble on digestives.
Took a gulp of my favourite mouth wash,
hair of the dog?
all was right again.
Yours Booze Hound

I love this side of you, Lou. lol. It makes quite an entertaining reading.
However, I wonder about all this *altered ego* writing, must be the opposite of *channeling*.

I'm pleased that you liked it, hopefully you will enjoy the next instalment, it's nice to use my sense of humour for a change, although within that there is a little darkness.

Dear Lou,
I'm catching myself up on your posts! You already know I love this character. He reminds me of Aqualung!!! (a song by Jethro Tull)
