A clear mind

I'm just listening

The composition of beaded notes
dive at an angle aimed at my calves

Clear projectiles implode on my skin
slinking down toward my ankles

The rhythm is constant

Solid patterns

drumming

playing

trickling

A humming opus composed by the grey
leaving translucent tones around my feet

I could listen forever

The drenching sound
makes me
forget

I had never looked at the rain before as you have done in this write...that's the magic good poets like you create with their perception..vision and expressive words...a good lesson for amateurs like me...thanks for sharing this one...

It’s marvellous the rain let it come again
and
had it not been for Raj,
I would have continued to wonder,
Its ingenuity of a poet’s creativity,
To make a reader wonder
What the poet meant asunder...
Rain pitter patter at my ankles
Does render
Wow Ireally wonder
It’s your good fortune that
Raj commits no blunder
