~we come together

and like the tender glint
of a thousand august stars
that tangle in darkness

I travel over you

my breath
the nameless wind of sky
exhaling
between peaks of mountain breasts

my sweat
of summer salted seas
falls
in a gentle shower
as if to moisten the mound
of your fertile flesh

you wash against me
like waves over smooth stone
and I swallow the warmth
of your flooding stream

my storm brews thick
and I thunder
through your shadowed valleys
echoing my love in caves of need
as if in a secret language
calling out the names of gods
until
we are still
with the cadence of afterglow

and we curve together
to bend light inside night
like a half moon love story

Those last lines in this are a delicious eastern style poem all its own, they simply make the rest even more stunning. :) I am glad you're here too :)
