of cryptic poetry. And therein lay between lines and rhymes
underneath the allusions and metaphor, a cry from deep within the poet,
I wonder if he really goes unheard. Or is his reader unable to send back
a suitable reply? A strong haiku.
there seems to be more in this than I consciously considered....that how it works sometimes....thank god, or somebody. I tend to think my stuff as more shallow than I wish it to be. I'm grateful when others perceive something of substence or relative depth. Bolstering my shakey poetic ego
of the poetic matter is that every person that takes pen to paper in poetry has a certain measure of depth to them, even the rhymesters and poeticules, which I don't find surprising but a relief. A depth in the shallows can be very brilliant as well. Keep that chin up Al, your poetic ego is in a safe haven.
