Traveling Light In Journey of Life

If I become You
And You happen to be Me
We will still be US

Will anything change
Or will it still be the same
Between two of Us?

Even if I be Me
And you choose to remain You
Be empathetic

Then we will know more
about how to build bridges
with compromises

Life is a journey
Without a return ticket
Who knows when it ends

Let us travel light
without being too burdened
with excess baggage

Thank you for the read ...you did hit the spot with your understading its essence i have tried to bring out..yes it has two sides to it....the better of the two is that whosoever it be with ...the journey of life is enjoyable if there is compassion and compromise and if one is free of excess baggage of misunderstnading or such other negative influences...

In this piece, you remind us that there is always two sides to every story. (at least) Life is a journey, and we can make it hard or easy, with our attitude. I cannot pick out favorite lines as they are all so very good.

"Let us travel light
without being too burdened
with excess baggage" ..........You're right!!

So many people cannot put themselves in the shoes of others and see the different point of view, they charge through life and miss the interchange of understanding, so sad, they cannot truly love anyone else but themselves. You said it well here Raj.
