When I say I love you

When I say I love you
It is more than just the word,
More than a weak definition,
More than short infatuation.

When I say I love you
It is more than just the word,
More than simply social dress,
Or choosing what suits me best.

When I say I love you
You must never let me go.
Never let me alone my love,
For I have no life without you.

You are more than my completion.
You are more!

It is not that I chose you-
Existence comes before

And if I lose you
Existence is no more

these words would blow away any female.:)
She must be someone special to deserve such a piece of art
The closing lines are especially clever.
Thank you for sharing such enjoying and beautiful piece
Feeling a bit envious though wink wink.

Geezer

with Rula, she has an eye for the romantic story, and you have certainly produced!
I'm not sure that there are many changes that could be made here. I am sure that you could use a different line in the second stanza, rather than: "It is more than just a word". Maybe you could say that it is "more than just a phrase". Nicely done, ~ Geezer.

I can see the logic in what you say, but I wanted the emphasis to be on the word, Love, not the phrase, I love you.
