IS MY WAY STILL GOING?

Is my way still going,
And my journey steering right?
My name still worthy?
Cleared from all wrinkles and blemishes?

A vision sighted through teary eyes, scarred shadow,
Divinely scripted, to become many a good to come,
Flies gather, intending to pull out power,
Mistakes and emotions boring its incisors on my lonely street,
Wanting to chew away every strength, hope to survive.

Is my way still going?
Are there gelatinous holes slowing my movement?
Wishing I tarry in vain, driving towards nothing,
Is my fire still burning,
And my path on sail to greater glory?

Is my vehicle still breathing through its nostrils,
Not overwhelmed by the foul air from the enemy's camp?,
Is my course still just, true and true
I hope to see light
When my journey ends this flight

Hello, Sheddie,
I've noticed in the past that your poetry invites the reader to sit and visit a while - study the language and the mood. This is very introspective, and holds a few raw questions about human nature. I sense a high integrity in the final lines. Inspiring.
Thank you!
