An Old Photo of My Parents

I can look at their black and white photo
whenever I want, to take in where they’ve been.
The old wood frame somewhat worn
from years of repeating the memories.

The image within, from long ago, is a little blurred.
But that’s not why I couldn’t understand
where the love, captured in time, might have gone.

Hello, Michael,
Such a silence here, full of thoughts and memories. I sense the child you once were meeting the adult you are now, still wondering.
Thank you,
