I just wanted a kiss

you act like I've got a scarlet letter on my chest
and that i'm different than the rest

just cause I flirt
doesn't mean they've seen under my shirt

just cause I stare
doesn't mean they've seen down there

yes I've had sex
but so have the rest

why am I treated like this
I was just a girl who wanted a kiss

but a boy changed my mind
and he wasn't even kind

he hurt my heart
and other parts

just cause i wanted a kiss
doesn't mean rape doesn't exist

Your poem was thought provoking and challenging. In particular, the way it challenges the reader to understand the links between victim blaming and consent. In addition, the subject of rape and consent is dealt with sensitively, while highlighting serious themes. Well done, it was a powerful and emotionally charged poem. Ruby :)

I guess AI does not deal well with raw emotion! I can relate to your feelings really well, as I have been a victim myself. I liked your progression through the poem, each stage...
