Beautiful dreamer

Sail on beautiful dreamer
slip off into the night,
your mind demands its freedom
but you want to run and hide
no one's expectations
can hurt you here tonight
you’re free now, go
do as you please
you’ve finally made your mark
but will freedom grant your inmost wish
a shadow crosses your mind!

The below is a computer generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

Overall, "Beautiful Dreamer" is a concise and poignant poem that captures the theme of freedom and the fear that comes with it. The imagery of sailing off into the night creates a sense of fluidity and movement, while the line "Your mind demands its freedom" adds depth to the idea of internal struggles. The repetition of "You're free now" emphasizes the importance of liberation and the relief that comes with it.

However, the poem could benefit from some additional punctuation to help with the flow and clarity. For example, adding a comma after "Slip off into the night" would create a natural pause for the reader. Additionally, the last line could be revised to "A shadow crosses your mind, will freedom grant your inmost wish?" to better connect the two parts of the sentence and improve the overall flow.

Overall, "Beautiful Dreamer" is a strong and evocative poem that captures the essence of freedom and its complexities.

like you have been practicing this one a while. I get it; sometimes, we demand our freedom before we work out what we are going to do with it. Many times, we fear being obligated to something or someone, when there is no reason. The question of being free to do as one pleases, has made many people flee relationships, jobs and opportunities. Hopefully, all these things will work out for your beautiful dreamer. The AI's advice is good, I think it would help make the lines mesh properly. The comma is a good idea too. ~ Geezer.
