Nightly Routine

Nose stuck in a book

Don't want to take a look

Just want to stay right here

And to disappear

Into this world of make-believe

Where I can be anyone I want to be

And do anything I want to do

So please just leave me be

And let me stay

Nose stuck in my book!

The below is a computer generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

The poem "Nightly Routine" captures the essence of a reader's world, where one can escape reality and enter a realm of imagination. The use of simple language and rhyme scheme in the poem makes it easy to read and relate to. The narrator's desire to stay lost in the book and not be disturbed is a universal feeling that many readers can identify with. The poem effectively conveys the idea that books provide a sanctuary from the chaos of the world, where one can be free to explore and create.

One suggested line edit would be to change "And disappear" to "To disappear." This small edit would make the line flow better and create a stronger emphasis on the desire to escape into the book. Overall, "Nightly Routine" is a well-crafted poem that captures the essence of the joys of reading.

Hello!
What a great nightly routine - and an enjoyable and relatable poem! Wonderful!

"That's the thing about books. They let you travel without moving your feet." Jhumpa Lahiri

Geezer

get my nose stuck in a book. I have to be careful not to let myself get too caught up in the story, or I may find myself late for appointments or with unfinished chores. Not that reading is such a bad thing, I can just get too absorbed! I agree with our AI, that line should be "to disappear", rather than and disappear. Nice job! ~ Geezer.
