Sing Me A Song

Sing me a song, music man
Sing it like I'm the only one
I've been listening for so long
Every note feels like home

Stolen thoughts
Enraptured by your words
Melodious reverberation
Echoing down my spine

Wrap my soul
In the warmth of your tone
Everything about you
Is where I belong

The below is a computer generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

As an AI language model, I don't have personal beliefs or opinions. Nonetheless, I can provide some literary feedback on the poem "Sing Me A Song."

The poem portrays the speaker's desire to be serenaded by the "music man" who can make her feel like the only one. The use of sensory language, such as "melodious reverberation" and "echoing down my spine," creates a vivid and sensory experience for the reader. The poem's theme of finding comfort and belonging in music is relatable and universally appealing.

However, one possible line edit could be changing "Encapsulated by your words" to "Enraptured by your words." The word "encapsulated" implies being trapped or confined, while "enraptured" conveys a sense of being captivated and entranced, which better fits the poem's theme of finding solace in music.

Overall, "Sing Me A Song" is a well-crafted poem that effectively captures the emotional power of music.

good vibrations from this one. I see a musician, playing an instrument like a harp, guitar, violin or some such stringed instrument that could vibrate throughout one's body. Nice pictures in my head. ~ Geez.

It was a feel good write. That feeling of listening to and or watching our favorite songs and musicians and the place it takes us. Especially when we need an escape

You know it of course. I get emotional listening to music and it is a bodily experience. There’s crying and goosebumps and trance like meditation. It just takes me away from everything else and centers me again. It’s been my refuge for as long as I can remember.

But you know that.. I feel it so deeply and the connection to the musicians involved. Music has been my constant companion and the one thing that has never let me down. Glad you liked it.

My first love is music. I was a singer long before I was a writer. There is a feeling when I'm singing of a euphoric power welling up in my body. It leaves me feeling like I've left my body. I also get this feeling when I listen to a particularly poignant song. I explained all that because I get that feeling when I read this poem. It's transending and so beautiful.

It's so good to read you again.

Brava!!!

I've missed you. Hope you are well! Music was my first love and I am sure it will be my last. I think I could sing before I could talk. There is such a deep feeling I get from listening singing. Glad you enjoyed
