The Clown (Al Workshop)

Mr. clown's house is always a mess;
he never finds his belongings
but he cares for the motley dress,
the red nose, and the tight-strings.

He came back late last night,
he was almost sleeping,
he wore the sandwiches at sight,
and ate the glasses he was wearing.

He missed the kitchen for the WC,
he switched off the toilet's light,
so he couldn't tell where to pee
till the sun is high with day-light.

When he decided to go to bed
he searched for his head, up'n down
Yet kept awake the whole night instead,
for he failed to find the sleeping-gown.

The poem is written in a structured Western style, with a clear rhyme scheme and meter. The language is whimsical and playful, with images of a messy house and a bumbling clown creating a sense of humor and lightness.

The repetition of the phrase "he never finds his belongings" emphasizes the disorganized nature of Mr. Clown's house and adds to the overall theme of chaos and confusion. The use of absurd images, such as eating glasses and wearing sandwiches, contributes to the playful and surreal tone of the poem.

The final stanza introduces a sense of melancholy, as Mr. Clown searches for his sleeping-gown but is unable to find it, leading to a sleepless night. This shift in tone adds depth to the poem and hints at a deeper sadness or loneliness beneath the surface of the clown's antics.

Overall, "Mr. Clown's House" is a well-crafted poem that balances humor and whimsy with moments of melancholy and sadness. The structured Western style adds a sense of coherence and formality to the playful language and imagery, resulting in a poem that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.

I thought I have already commented on this, but seems that Mr. clown's messy hands have reached out to it in a way or another.
Iam really delighted to get such a positive feedback.
Can't say more.
Thank you!
