Dreamline

A long dark train
moves down the line.
To settle the score
with the war in your mind.

Don’t look back!
Your peace of mind
will slowly return
as the track unwinds.

A few GOOD friends
are all that you'll need.
To continue your quest.
In search of your dreams!

So, make wise choices
as best you can
and be sure that
a few friends lead you along!

I think these are very wise words. I think this is a poem anyone can find something to relate to. I don't see anything to critique.

Well done!!

Kind Regards Seren

Thank you both for your comments. It's great to be welcomed this way, especially by those whose gifts are so apparent!

With the limited knowledge that I possess of psychology and a good understanding of my spiritual beliefs. I will attempt to
describe what this means to me. Our dreams often seem to have no meaning. They are often haphazard and chaotic even frightening, but whatever our dreams may or not mean. I believe that God sends them to comfort us. they are a tool that our minds use to work things out.

A life lived without friends would be an empty thing

So very true, sadly though many of people have very few! Thanks for sharing!.

Leslie

Our dreams, even frightening ones can be our friends as we each find our way down the path of life. Our friends can help us interpret themselves as we follow life's long sometimes uncomfortable track.
