World Building

Was having lunch with people the other day

Could not understand a word they had to say

As my mind wandered away, I started to feel

That none of these people were even real

Implanted memories from a long time ago

To turn me into someone who I do not know

I hear voices inside my head I cannot see

They are all just part of the grand conspiracy

I feel so much better when I am all alone

Living in this world, I built all on my own

Living inside of this cold, cold ice box

Held together by mental blocks

My end is near; my past; it is gone away

In this world I built, I will always stay

About This Poem

Last Few Words: When asked why I write what I do, I say, "My words are of someone who has seen love but has never experienced love, someone who has seen winners but has never been a winner, and someone who has seen success but never has achieved success."
