Tales Of Ancient Greece : The Traveler

Oh weary traveller,
Who has come from lands unknown,
Come to my doorstep,
And rest your aching body,
At my Hestian hearth,

Let the warmth of the fire soothe you,
Let the flames of my desire hypnotize you,
As you drink the wine of poets,
While I gift you words of seduction,
Shyly hidden in blushing roses,

A moment is then held between us,
As our eyes meet,
And our souls recognize each other,
After endless searching,
Within earthly and celestial realms,
We realize that we have met before,
In previous times and places,

We have always known each other,
As century after century,
We are painfully torn from one another,
By the gossamer thread of fate,
As you then travel land and sea,
In search of me,

You are my eternal soulmate,
And as we live and die,
Our story continues on,
Of love,
Loss,
And reuniting once again,
In heavenly bliss.
