A prodigal's script

I am up there
singing by the sun
belching golden buzzers
all around me

And down here I
let fireflies lead the way
and silence sound the gong
in and out

I adorn
character of green comet
gliding amid
shining stars in varied flickers
on my way home

To a calling a million times
aborted for pastures
a prodigal among glittering stars
comes home

Too late or
late bloomer: this prodigal

About This Poem

Last Few Words: I left poetry for over two decades in pursuit of "happyness". Now I feel like a prodigal coming back home to roost. Perhaps, I came home late. Perhaps, I could be a late bloomer.

Geezer

to come back home. I'm not sure of the purpose of the word [adorn], did you mean [adore] the character of the green comet?
Anyway, I think you have the beginning of a good tale. ~ Geezer.

Thanks Geezer for your commentary. Actually "adorn" means to decorate and appear attractive. In this context, I know I do have the talent or gift of creative writing, especially poetry. And would have made much mark had I been consistent these past decades. I'm still at that process of homecoming.
