The mollified man

The meekly
mollified man
subtly sews
his silently
simplistic sights
upon reality’s
rickety rufescent light .
Always left
lifelessly looming
beneath the brain’s
bashfully blurred
background
of benevolence.
Frankly flickering out
the faded flaws
whose firm
factual flames
of effectiveness
have by now
grimly grown
themselves
out of Life’s
limp lashes
of limelight .
Solemnly swearing
their silent
silken seas
of sorrow
into the
sulking sands
of insignificance .

Excellent usage of that rarity. Well done as always. This one is especially superb in my opinion. Maybe you should try for poem of the week?

Hello, Edward,
Another well written poem full of alliteration that fits so wonderfully tight together. I very much like your choice of title, especially since reading that Twelve Angry Men was part of your inspiration. I hope you are doing better.
Thank you,
L
