January 2023 Challenge New Year's Resolution

The blank book (January contest 2023)

three hundred and sixty five pages book
this syllable with twelve scenes
each scene with four acts at least
read with determination
though nobody knows the end
it's known only by the author

I try reading all the pages
word by word from intro-
through the appendix
version by version both the old
the more I try to catch up the words
they disappear and the faster time flies
hoping to understand the past,
present and future more
yet the result's always different

interpreting the meanings
takes wisdom and patience
discipline and positivity
grace and hard labour
the portrayment of this book
refer to our daily struggle
at least what we are is written

the prayer of all readers
is that the new book
gives hope and blessings
love and harmony
wealth and breakthrough
to any who cross-open over
and with a positive mentality
new book, new life, new revolution.

Hello, Simon,
Full of hope and anticipation! A wonderful poem to begin anew!

Geezer

of a blank book to start the new year, is a great theme. We can write what we like in it and take some messages from another person's book to help us through our lives during the year. The pace is steady and not too fast, the language use is good.
The idea that we can write what appears in our own book gives us hope that we can do better this year. Logic and understanding is our happiness. ~ Geez.

A gift we are given at the start of each new year...I love how you used this to depict your hopes and dreams and what we can do with a fresh beginning.

Leslie

This rang out clear and true. You have a gentle kind way to express yoursself!

Simon

You are very correct, many people said that to me most times.
Thanks again
