Only in fairy tales are we able to see
all of the characters we are able to be.
Some days the pauper, some days the queen
others, the princess, sometimes the king.
But when we are nasty and ever so mean
the role of the troll can often be seen.
Whatever our mood, whatever our need
there is always an appropriate story to read.
Without tiny stories and beautiful dreams
we have no way to muffle life’s screams.
The beauty of fairy tales should never be lost
there is no possible way to repay the cost.
Always remember, although words all they be
each has his stories through which he can see.
Each has a harbor, a safe place, a nook
all neatly portrayed in some fairytale book.

I like this...
I appreciated the rhyme and the sentiments; they made reading it a pleasure. One thing I might change if I were you, is the last line. Instead of: some childlike book, I would say some [fairytale] book. Nice work, welcome to Neo. ~ Geezer.

Fairy Tales
Clentin,
I enjoyed this very much. It sails along in rhythm and rhyme, and the theme is inspiring. I agree with Geezer regarding the final line about "childlike" book. "Fairly tale" or perhaps "childhood" book since the previous stanza is reflecting on one's personal stories. This is a fun and delightful read.

The correlation between fairy tales and reality are quite true. Most of us wear many different hats throughout the course of a day and really throughout our whole lives. A clever write. Well done.
Tight
Very strict structural arrangement. Good theme. I also like that idea and I think you’ve done well constructing a coherent poem. I spent a minute or twenty years bitching about my life being no fairytale. Then I decided to make it one. It’s not working out exactly as planned but it beats the alternative, which just a bunch of misplaced emotions. I like this.
