Little Noises

There are sounds we never hear
Like spiders walking across a mirror
Or ants moving tons of sand
And bees that on flowers land
A million sounds that are so near
Yet never reach the human ear!

I read this out loud...in a whisper...in respect for the feelings that the poem evokes!

Welcome to Neopoet. I really enjoyed reading every word here, the theme, the internal and ending rhymes.
I only thought you need a more precise title.
Maybe sth like "unheard noises"
Just a thought. Your poem, your call.
Already enjoyed.
Thank you for sharing.

Hello, Clentin,
This is charming. It's simplicity grabs the reader's attention, and delivers so much to appreciate. I will think of your poem as I take my daily walk, and probably be more aware of everything around me. Nice rhyme and rhythm.
Thank you!

I like the simplicity and the idea, that for as big as our ears are, we don't hear as much as happens. This is like a Kung Fu
lesson. Something I might hear a master tell a student. ~ Geezer.
