RUN THE SECOND MILE---- 2011

Time-less-ness of Time

Sorry for butting
if I may be permitted
as a scientist more
than a toddler poet,
daring to tread through
the poetic treadmill,
besides stalwarts,
not knowing much of the nuances of poetry,

none the less, I may continue, if you do permit

firstly,
I may suggest, we all read the book on Time
brief history of time by Stephen Hawkins

secondly,
science and spirituality
are at variance.
science is mathematical vision,
like the actual fact the earth
wobbles around the sun
the number of full moons
one sees in a life time,
subscribe to the basic element of time
scientifically adopted from sunrise to sunrise
and
today the Zodiac,
which is just over 2000 years
ensures the return of the sun,
having moved up from Cancer
down to the tropic of Capricorn,
and back which is not at all cyclic

also GMT was introduced
about just over 100 years
when air travel came to life

as far as spiritualism is concerned,
I'm hardly anybody to comment,
but all spirituality should be reserved,
for after any life, when we all are safely dispersed in heaven

on terra firma let’s be pragmatic humans,
all poets are a part of existentialism....

hope my intrusion, justifies my intention,
of not intruding in the domain,
where I continue to an infant,
a poetic baby still remain

Babe of 83+
only

Hi, Lovedly,
I love the line "the number of full moons one sees in a lifetime." There is such a connection there with the universe and the soul. A poetic baby still remain - aren't we all, and won't we always be?

to be taken as an insult or to demean your style. I meant that you will be required reading to make sure that amateur poets
get a full education on how different, but great a poet can be, while not conforming to the rigors and standards of the art.
Remember, I have said many times, that I always read your work? I really do! I don't always comment, but I do read you.
You always have something for me, in each and every piece you write. ~ Geez.
