Libyan Socialist Mona

Tears run freely down my face.

I am hearing of violence and upheaval in your country.

This athiest prays deeply for your safety,

my dearest friend,

if you you need to leave your country

I will do all I can to help.

If I can come there and help with the struggle

I will

You have saved my life with your love and compassion

I will not be powerless.

Tell me what is happening

and what I can do.

I have also been thinking of her during this time of upheaval in her country. I will add my prayers to yours for her safety...................scribbler

and a courageous critique. Just what Neopoet needs. Yes, it is more of letter than a poem.
But, to use a cliche I abhor, it is from the heart, and I don't think I will edit it.

Sometimes artifice can take away from the original meaning.

Again, I applaud your courage in this critique,
thank you,

talking to her now on the phone! You know what is happening? The USA and Arabian Press have sent in agent provacateurs to cause trouble, but Qaddafi called on his people to come into the streets to show solidarity and they did in their thousands and it was given no press coverage!

A good friend thinks Foxtel tells the truth but that is fucking idiocy.

Very very glad she is ok.

One of these days the *news* will be intelligent enough to know most folks have friends all over the world and are in communication with them via internet and youtubes, etc., communiques that
speak the truth and not Americana distortion and intrigue.

About the way her country is being presented in the Western Press. Wonder why? Tunisia and Egypt were corrupted by the IMF, but Libya has been an independent socialist state since Muammar al-Gaddafi, he is not a dictator, he is a revolutionary leader. It is only a wonder that the west has taken so long to attack him. No, not a wonder, he has the support of his people and the Western Press are using the uprisings in Tunisia and Egypt to put him in the same position. A complete lie.
