No time to
turn back
and bashfully
burn away
from the
fumes of fear .
Thinking
no one is
near to wipe
away each
and every
timidly
tender tear .
However
in this life
there still
lonesomely
lies a chance .
Always lurking
within the
dismally
dying depths
of darkness .
Wistfully waiting
to spark a
lone luscious light
of half hummed hope.
hanging
onto a
reluctant royal
reverie
that like a ravine
ruffled rosebud
blissfully blooms
out an immense
inner beauty .

This is...
A good piece, that I was tempted to try and correct.
However, I saw the use of the [ly] in numerous words
and then realized that it was intentional.
It took me a bit and then I felt foolish about
what I think is a very good device. Carry-on!
Good job, ~ Geez.

I usually express my loneliness and sadness and longing
Into poetry I put these in because I relate to what there portraying and the words there saying.
And I try to give myself hope as well as other people lustered in lonely places.

Hello, Edward,
You are certainly the "giver of hope." The poem builds up bold strength and courage, yet ends with such gentleness and peace. Gratitude and extreme grace.
Thank you,
L
Thank you lavender
Well I was inspired to write this when I saw the scene from a friend for the end of the world.
Most of us are afraid of the unknown or too afraid to take a chance . But we forget that we have only one life to live and it’s light could be blown out in an instant without us even aware of it .
Then you realize at the very end of your life what truly matters most to you.
