Pair of Swans .....SEPT CONTEST WEEKLY ONE

Lovely
What a lovely pair
of birds
one of swans
don't compare

they intermingle with all their
guests
as best
of friends
all simply love them

they are flying away
to the continent
for a longer stay
may God Bless them
we all pray

pair of swans
be happy and gay
loving is the only
pathway

do remember us all
once in a way
till in a newer country
you now shall stay......

Time for the swans to fly home to winter quarters! Hope they don't get caught up in that storm out there! Fly safe
dear gentle guests. Stay away from those bad boys, the geese. A rowdy bunch they are. Nice party and send off for the graceful swans, lovedly. ~ Geez.

While humans prepare for the different seasons, nature does, too. Saw a lone swan in the lake this past March, passing through. You are right, nothing compares to them. Lovely well wishes and safe returns to the swans!

need to take a sabbatical
let oldies take a back seat
now the newer generation
after the swans have flown
take over the scene

Since SUN does set over all human fields
glory be now shared amongst a newer breed
let's them now feed
the grass is still green
ere NIAGARA snows
prepare a WHITE shield
relax if you feel
