A stranger

A stranger

In the venue where we met
I saw a stranger in the black.
I saw his eyes,
They were like ice.
I heard his voice,
It wasn’t noise.
I saw the wings on his back
And blood on his neck…
You could think I am a liar,
But I am sure it was a vampire!

Geezer

for the beasts in us... to come forth, to be scared of what we see in ourselves. I truly believe that the nightmares that we write about, are the things we fear reside in us! Good job of scaring us with that. ~ Geezer.

The poem drops a visual imagery with a fearful scenerio.
