I shouldn’t,
But I do
I think I’d do anything for you.
I’d go anywhere
Say anything
If you told me to never talk to you again,
I would
I think it might kill me,
But for you anything
You could tell me to pack up and come to you,
I’m on the next flight out.
I’d change me name,
Dye my hair,
Burn my clothes,
If you told me to
I hope you wouldn’t ask me to,
I hope you’d accept me for me,
And love me unconditionally.
But if you dropped a hat,
I’d pick it up,
Over and over and over.

Excellent
It’s moving. We’ve talked you know some of my story. This theme is always going to ring true with me. Over and over.

Anywhere With You
Hello!
Your poetry gets the blood flowing. It is raw, straight to the point, but very tender and vulnerable. The last stanza could be a poem itself, it is so determined:
(But) If you dropped a hat,
I'd pick it up,
Over, and over, and over.
Thank you!

Wonderful write
and an equally enjoyable read. I think we all have that one person in our life that we would do absolutely anything for, even at our own expense. These lines:
I hope you wouldn’t ask me to,
I hope you’d accept me for me,
And love me unconditionally
I think is all we can hope for in any relationship, whether familial, friendship or romantic. Great job!
