In my head

I'm begging, please, get out from my head!
It's time I feel like the deadest of the dead...
And I know that right now I'm going down
Like a king, who is losing his golden crown;
But my heart is still beating, yes, I'm alive
Besides in my back there is big and sharp knife;
There are people around with masks on the faces
And everyone tries just to win the life races...
Well, I hope that my life won't come to the end
Till all is done and I can all understand.
I believe that I won't be forgotten by you all -
I just want to stay alive in your mind and soul.

I am looking forward to reading more of your work. I imagine that it has taken quite an effort to make contact from your city at this time. We are an international community of poets and poetry lovers.

There a select few of us that have written about your country’s plight. Please look around The Stream should you want to see how much has been written.

I personally welcome you!
