NO SPRING CHICKEN

I was already getting old
the year they first made dirt
and on that day so clear and cold
some of it soiled my clean shirt.

So I saddled up my dinosaur
to go down to the new formed river
where a dry ravine was before.
The icy water made me shiver.

The first crow egg had just hatched out
( yep the egg came before the crow)
and the first red wood was a mere sprout
it had just begun to grow.

The ocean water had no salt
'cause it was pure sans dino piss *note below
the earth was smooth without a fault
although I'd not swear to this.

I watched the whales learn how to swim
basked in polar sun ere it turned cold
Ozymandias ? Yes I knew him.
I reckon that I'm getting old.

Geezer

I remember you! You lived down the road from me and we went to school together! I was the one who dipped little Wilma's pigtails in the dinosaur shit. LoL This was lots of fun! Had a great laugh! ~ Geez.
