When you play in the garden of Eden
devour greenery be happy
swimming in the ocean wear a blue bikini
merge with what's next waiting
never ever be angry lovers bring roses
red so many you will cheer up Betty
never feel dull grey is for fools
not you
enjoy orange lovely feeling
when you are pealing
as she comes in a yellow dress
just whistle she'll say woh hoo
you look like Dorris Day only smile
don't say Doris who
as you are invited for a softy
be calm like aqua
cool like silent lake water
a time will now come
when you wanna jump
say Violet where in hell are you
I need you hi sexy are you
when his lips are chilly
say give me rum and lime
in darkness be not scared
go bare cling on to him
here comes an opportunity
as the sky is darkened blue
will it snow or rain ask the met will you
be smart never silly
purple is only for Royalty
you'd wish to be

Yes, that would be Violet! She always was "in the mood". and she liked being bare. I said once, how come naked? She said that is such an ugly sounding word; 'bare sounds much nicer and pleases me." Your choice of colors is very well done. ~ Geez.

A lovedly poem! Thoughtful and sensuous, as per those old Romantics, yet with a playfulness cummings would have envied!
cummings would have envied!
WOW THANKS
no one does it like cummings!
Yeah, you have that same sense of playfulness that I get from his stuff. I've tried for it but never quite reached it, so well done!
I am always myself since my birth
if someone is or was like me it's sheer coincidence
Any way rgds and thanks mi LORDS

I quite liked his poem, "Anyone Lived In A Pretty How Town". I have read his book about his stay in a French concentration camp during the Great War, "The Enormous Room" twice. I love his description of some of his fellow inhabitants as "delectable mountains".

Will do! I've been kind of away from the computer for a few days (helping my brother redo his back deck among other things) and also, having the laptop in my lap aggravates my arthritis, tendinitis or bursitis or whatever idiotic itis they haven't found name for yet. Lookin' forward to it.

It's hard for me to imagine inspiring anyone! (I certainly tried to inspire my students when I was teaching, but how successful I was is anybody's guess. Most of the time, I felt like I was really accomplishing all that much! However, some of my former students would beg to differ.)
You are good
you are selfless
